WHAT ARE ONE DAY CLAY WORKSHOPS?
Black Hound’s One Day Clay Workshops are a fun and easy way to experience clay for the first time! All of our workshops are taught by professional teaching artists and have easy step by step instructions designed for beginners who have never touched clay before.
If you have more experience, One Day Workshops will allow you to delve deeper into the projects and make them as unique and interesting as your heart desires.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
We welcome kids at our One Day Workshops!
If attending with a child, the adult must purchase a ticket as well to ensure that we have enough space for everyone in attendance.
Handbuilding workshops: kids 8 and over may attend with an accompanying adult
Wheelthrowing Workshops: kids 12 and over may attend with an accompanying adult.
Teens age 16 and over may attend One Day Workshops on their own.
WHAT IS SLIDING SCALE?
We wanted to make art experiences accessible to as wide an audience as possible, so our handbuilding workshops are all priced in 3 sliding scale tiers. No matter what tier you select, you will have the same fun workshop experience!
If you are unfamiliar with how sliding scale fees work, we ask that you take a look at this graphic to get a sense of where you fall on the scale.
WHEN DO I GET MY FINISHED PIECES?
All work is bisque fired, glazed and then fired again by Black Houndf staff. You can expect this to take about 3 to 4 weeks from the date of your workshop. You will be notified by email when your pieces are ready to pick up! We are open Thursday through Sunday 12-5.
In the event of your piece breaking in the firing process, we will notify you by email and rebook you into another workshop at no charge.
